Illness & Injury

When your child is sick or hurt, you want care you can trust, fast, and from someone who already knows them. Our team is here for everything from everyday illnesses to unexpected injuries, with same-day appointments available seven days a week.

Book a Visit

Sick visits are for important but non-emergency concerns. If your child is experiencing a seizure, severe difficulty breathing, or a serious injury, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

Same-Day Care, Every Day

When your child is sick, injured, or experiencing a new problem, we understand how important it is to be seen quickly, and by someone who knows your child.

At Your Convenience

Sick visits are available seven days a week, including weekends, so your child can be seen when illness actually happens, not just when it's convenient for a schedule.

Seen Quickly

Same-day appointments mean your child gets timely care without a trip to urgent care or the ER for most common illnesses and injuries. We work to get you in fast, because waiting makes everything harder.

Seen By Someone Who Knows

Your child is seen by a provider who has access to their full history, not a stranger at an urgent care clinic. That continuity means better, more informed care.

Always Available

Between visits, our 24/7 nurse advice line is here to help you decide what to do next. One call can give you the guidance and reassurance you need, any time of day or night.

In-Office Testing for COVID, Flu, RSV, Strep & More

Our clinics are equipped with point-of-care testing for the most common childhood illnesses, including COVID, influenza A and B, RSV, strep, and mono. Most results are available before you leave, so your child's provider can diagnose and treat in the same visit, no separate lab trip needed.

When to make an appointment

It's not always easy to know when a child should be seen by a pediatrician, especially during cold and flu season. Though many common illnesses can be safely managed at home, some symptoms may be a sign that your child needs medical evaluation.

We recommend scheduling an appointment if your child develops any of the following:

  • Fever in infants younger than 12 months
  • High fever accompanied by vomiting, rash, confusion, severe headache, or neck stiffness
  • Fever lasting more than three days
  • Difficulty breathing, rapid breathing, or labored breathing
  • Persistent or repeated vomiting
  • Frequent or severe diarrhea
  • Signs of dehydration, including poor fluid intake, decreased urination, dry mouth, or unusual sleepiness
  • Ongoing pain such as ear pain, sore throat, stomach pain, or headache
  • A widespread or concerning rash
  • Symptoms that are worsening or not improving after several days
  • Any symptom or behavior that feels unusual or concerning for your child
