Can ear piercings be scheduled online?

Ear piercing appointments require a phone call to your nearest location. They can't currently be booked through MyHealth. Ear piercing appointments are available to anyone ages 2 - 6 months or 5 - 22 years of age, even if they are not established patients at our clinic. Services vary per location and provider.

Does my child need a separate appointment for a sports physical?

Not always. If your child had a well-child visit in the past year, we can complete the sports physical paperwork without a separate appointment. Allow 3 business days for forms to be completed and ready for pickup or uploaded to MyHealth.

Is the in-house lab available at all three locations?

Our Portland and Tualatin locations have an on-site lab so most tests can be completed during your visit without an additional trip. Our Newberg location has limited lab capability and can only perform point-of-care testing. Blood draws will require testing at one of our other locations or at an external lab.

From minor procedures to specialized screenings, our in-office services are designed to keep your child's care convenient, coordinated, and consistent.

In-House Lab

No separate lab trip needed. Our on-site laboratory handles a wide range of tests, including blood draws, strep, flu, COVID, RSV, and mono, right at your visit. Results come back faster, and your child's provider has everything they need to diagnose and treat in the same appointment.

Nexplanon Placement

Several of our providers offer Nexplanon placement in-office for adolescent and young adult patients. Talk to your child's provider to discuss whether it's the right option and to arrange an appointment.

Circumcision

Newborn circumcisions are performed in-office by several of our providers during the first few weeks of life. If you're interested, we recommend discussing it at your prenatal meet-and-greet or calling us after delivery to arrange a time.

Minor Suturing

For cuts and lacerations that need stitches, we can often handle minor suturing right in the clinic, saving your family an unnecessary ER or urgent care visit.

Ear Piercing

We offer safe, sterile ear piercings for children of all ages in a clinical setting, giving families peace of mind that the procedure is handled with the same care and hygiene standards as any other in-office service.

Sports Physicals

Required for school sports and extracurricular activities, sports physicals can often be completed as part of your child's annual well-child visit. If your child had a well-child check in the past year, we can sign the pre-participation form without a separate appointment. Allow 3 business days for completion.

School Sports Pre-Participation Exam

Complete Part 1 in full before submitting. Any 'yes' answers require a brief written explanation. Include your child's name and date of birth, your phone number, preferred return method (fax, mail, front desk pickup, or MyChart), and when the form is due. Please allow 2–3 business days for completion. Important: if your child's most recent physical was more than 2 years ago, we are unable to sign the form.
