Krystal Taulai, LCSW

I enjoy the authenticity and vulnerability of partnering with children, adolescents, and families to walk through moments of both struggle and finding growth and hope. My favorites are the “Ah-hah!” moments in a child’s or parent’s eyes where everything clicks and an understanding has been found. Breaking through thinking errors, big emotions, or behavioral challenges and building skills in emotional intelligence, executive functioning, and communication are all exciting parts of working with children and their families for me.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & graduate of Portland State University. Pediatric mental health is where I have spent most of my career. I also have experience within inpatient psychiatric care, emergency department, and community based mental health. I am a proud native Oregonian and now live in Tigard with my family. In my spare time, I enjoy playing all types of board/card games, getting enamored with a new book or tv show, and going on evening walks with my family and our dogs.
